we had a very nice lunch at Alla Bona. very close to the main attractions, we found good food and an excellent service for us and our little one. even though it is in a very touristy location, the food is authentic and of high level. highly recommended.

This is one of the less touristy restaurants in Via Santa Maria, where there are many options, and its ethos is to be eco friendly and to serve Tuscan food and wine. We visited on a quiet evening and our server was very helpful and knowledgeable, and the food we chose was freshly cooked and delicious. Whilst the restaurants eco credentials should be praised, some of our group found the use of compostable plates and cutlery spoiled their dining experience, and questioned the value of using disposable items over reusable plates and cutlery. It would be interesting the know the restaurants view on this. However, if you are willing to make this compromise, then Allabona is recommended for dinner and is good value for money.
