Good kitchen, smiling service; we appreciated the diner. Thus, the main course was put on the table while we were still eating the starter. A little point which can easily be improved. Nevertheless, we recommend this table.

The quality of the food is high and it's a lovely restaurant but we were sitting almost alone and the service was friendly but they gave no suggestions, advice....only that we had to scan the QR-code for the menu (hate that - I don't want phones during diner). But I really go back another time, it's a nice place, but maybe later (after 21 h).

The food and service were excellent. Wonderful fresh food superbly presented. The waitress was friendly and helpful. We were surprised how quiet this restaurant was given it served the best food we tasted in Alicante. We had 7 sharing plates, with great portions sizes for 4 people and 8 drinks which cost €90.00. We thought this was excellent value for a celebratory meal. We would highly recommend Bailen 17.

Arrived with a reservation. Ordered a few items for 3 persons. A large party of 10-12 came in shortly after and was fully served with drinks and food before one small tapa arrived of my 3. Waited another 10 minutes, left money for the tapa and left. Did not once get a water refill or drink order in. Would not recommend.

it was a bit of a strange experience as when we arrived the restaurant was deserted. We went in and hung around for awhile and someone came out and said the restaurant wasn’t open yet even though the door was wide open and we had a table booked. So we went outside and waited for awhile and then went back in and we were suited at a nice table. We ordered quite a lot of Tapas, which was okay and quite unusual but not as good as I thought it was going to be. There are some quite sweet things and what I thought was a bit fusion rather than traditional Tapas. We didn’t stay for long, and didn’t have any main courses as we weren’t enjoying it very much

Calm environment. Food is well prepared and and there's a lot of variety. We had the secretos chato, that was not in the menu, thus the discount do not apply, but was the most traditional option and was very tasty.

Excellent place for a casual dinner. We ordered amolst all available items listed 'to share' and were not disappointed by any of them, since all came freshly cooked. On the desired side: A little more variety on the drinks list would be welcomed. The final verdict: This is a place were we'll return for sure and will, also, recommend it to our friends.

Absolutely absolutely brilliant place. Everything about the restaurant was faultless from the ambience, to the service to the quality of food. Definitely the BEST tapas we had in Alicante. Awesome experience.

Nice place, with interesting food. However, selection of wines by the glass is limited. Same about English capabilities of the waiting staff. Wait time -- even when we were the only people in the restaurant was also a bit too long. Overall, my score is about 9.1...

We were so happy that the food and service was as wonderful as we remembered from 2 years ago! Great carrillera, and the caballitos del Mar were a tasty entrada. We will be back, hopefully sooner!

Really delicious food in a very comfortable environment, with lovely service. We shared many dishes - the calamari was light & crispy, the potatoes unusual & so tasty - the star was the steak. Fabulous flavour, perfectly cooked, the tastiest steak in quite a while.

Great food, especially the secreto iberico. A great wine list too. The serving staff is extremeley professional. The decór is also a treat. Overall great eating experience in Alicante. Definitely worth repeating.

What an amazing restaurant! High quality cuisine, friendly staff and extremely honest price. Salmon and tuna tartars were like paradise. Highly recommended!!!
