9/10Great service and a nice ambience. The Rigatoni Gamberi was excellent and the desserts were superb, specially the pistachio cheesecake. However the veal escalope was disappointing.

9.5/10This was my second visit to Basta Cosi. Tonight I ordered the Gnocchi Grantinati. It was delicious. Little pillows of Gnocchi bathed in a cheesy creamy sauce. I'm looking forward to my third visit.

10/10This was one of the finest meals I had during my week in Avignon. More casual and relaxed than the other top two places. Great for families, inexpensive and servings to satisfy the biggest eaters. The owner actively involved with every guest party. A French proprietor fascinated by Italian cuisine. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

9.5/10Excellent food & tremendous service with easy, private parking (thank you)! When the combined appetizer medley wasn’t available, Pierre-Etienne said they could substitute some items, we asked him to “surprise us” and we were WOWed. Tremendous value - loved the whole experience. Pierre-Etienne was attentive & amazing.

10/10Though on the outskirts, you must visit this place! Absolutely amazing food and impressive service! Very personable and attentive, working hard to please and provide the best possible experience. We went there twice in our stay in Avignon. They were over the moon pleased to see us again, gratefully gifting us with extra treats:) Friendly and warm, this restaurant we’ll remember more than any other fancy places we’ve been to in Avignon and around. 9/10A real find. Close to Villeneuve les Avignon and Les Angles this Italian restaurant offered something a little different. A good choice of starters and main courses. Great atmosphere and seemed very popular with locals and tourists. Booking online with the Fork app was easy.

8/10Good honest food, but we walked 2 km because it was so highly praised. While we have no comments on the food and/ or service (on the contrary) nor the value for money, it wasn’t really worth the long walk as there are equally good Italians in Avignon centre (which maybe says more about us than the restaurant). Good value for money.

3/10A couple, we were seated next to two tables with at least 4 toddlers each. There was no family area or quiet area. We waited for half an hour to get menus and we only got them because we called the server and reminded him that we were waiting. We ordered our drinks and I didn’t get mine. I had to ask another server, who simply told me it wasn’t her who had taken my order and NEVER GOT ME MY DRINK!!! The food was disgusting, a risotto that floated in a sea of oil, and a salad that was more of a giant toast with canned tomato concentrate, a huge amount of cheap cheese and three leaves on the side, all three flattened by the amount of dressing on them.
