We loved Bistrot du Monde. The owner helped us select our dishes. The food was amazing and the service was great. We can’t wait to come back to Taormina and visit this restaurant again!

10/10Fantastic dinner, the owner and the personnel are very agradable, the food is a mix of local tradition with a creative vibe. The restaurant is conveniently located in the center of Taormina, in a picturesque street. We will come back to this restaurant the next time we will visit Taormina!

4.5/10I ordered shrimp scampi and was given a plate of pasta with red sauce and an empty shrimp shell on top. The server argued with me and said scampi does not have shrimp, even if the title said shrimp.

4.5/10We were there for honeymoon celebration. Food was mediocre, slightly overpriced, service was ok. However, they have served us with the wrong dishes, we have just took one bite and stop immediately. We told the staff and he then talked with the shop owner, the same staff came back and assured us we will not be charged with the wrong dishes. But when we paid the bill, we were charged and the “manager” also taught us a lesson “you have to pay what you eat”. They gave us £10 discount which I do not understand why, if they think the fault is not theirs. It is just an isolated event and my rate did not reflect my disappointment, but if you trust me, choose Terrazza Moro, stunning view, 10/10 service (professional wine pairing), 10/10 food, same price of this restaurant.

5/10Grouper dish was served raw and had to be sent back to cook. The rest of the food was bland and fish in pasta dishes was tough and poor tasting.

9/10arrived in Taormina and dined at Bistro du Monde. Small cosy restaurant, friendly Boss and staff. We ordered Land & Sea tasting menu, and tried a rose sparkling wine. Dishes used local ingredients and nicely presented. Loved dessert platter most: tiramisu, pistachio semifreddo and chocolate mousse. Overall a nice restaurant and dining experience.

10/10Recommended by our B&B host. Did not disappoint. Friendly staff, great service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. Favs were the lamb, lobster pasta, truffle tagliatelle, tiramisu and pistachio semifreddo. Our last meal was at a Michelin-recommended restaurant, and this was far superior.
