I don’t know why they take reservations as we were left standing for 35 minutes . That said , once seated , waiter was lovely . Food was fine , not amazing but eventually had a nice evening.

We made a reservation through the Fork and I added the note "outside please". There was plenty of time for the restaurant to prepare that. On arriving we were offered a seat inside in the much to warm and not inviting area of the restaurant. In front of the place there was a huge line of people without reservation. I told the waiter, that we asked for a table outside and don't want to sit at that table. He took a pen, He struck through my name on the reservation list and left us standing. This was by far the worst experience I had the last years. I highly advice anybody not to visit that place.

THE BEST and WORST THINGS EVER. I'll start with the good news... the tuna tartare and the octopus were two of the best l've ever had. The tomato salad with dried ricotta Salita was very good. After all the fish we wanted, something that was not seafood, however, oth ak the only option sound Copy as honey chicken with walnuts. The absolute toughest driest piece of chicken I ever tried to eat my life. I explained to them it was inedible and he agreed it's usually tough and dry however, they wouldn't take it off the bill. I got a check and decided it's not worth arguing the rest of the meal was so good, however I would not return or recommend this restaurant. We were planning to come another night for dinner. I won't be able to enjoy it.

Really enjoyed our time at Paladino! We sat outside which was really nice and enjoyable, you feel apart of the Taormina life. The service was so friendly and helpful and the food was really good, definitely rate it higher than some of the other restaurants we tried.

exceptional Sicilian seafood: pistachio coated tuna steaks, melanzana parmigiana, & a very fresh salad with cherry tomatoes, fennel, basil, .. delizicioso!

First time in Taormina. How beautiful! Love the atmosphere of the sidewalk table, and the food was assolutamente favoloso! Very attentive service. Loved everything about it!

Despite the reservation at fixed time, we still had to wait and during dinner we were also hounded. We obviously had to make room quickly so that as many customers as possible could pass through. The money rush is clearly more important than the culinary aspect!

it used to be a nice place, now it's just a tourist machine, hungry for your money. Will unlikely go again.

Our waiter was meraviglioso!! Very attentive and sweet! Works hard! The food is incredible! The caves below are worth a peek. An unbelievable story and fascinating to see. Grazie mille!

We found this restaurant online and booked it because of the reviews and we were not disappointed. It was honestly one of the best meals we have ever eaten. Fresh, home made, interesting and different. We had a steak, a pasta dish with shrimp and a tuna special with a delicious sauce with pine nuts, olives and raisins. Everything was so delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous and couldn’t do enough for us. The setting is really pretty and romantic. Will definitely be going back before we leave.

The restaurant was a great find. Our first time in Taormina and this didn’t disappoint. The food was first class as were the staff….Would highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our dinner. However, it was let down by a few little things which would have changed the experience. Firstly, my parmigana starter was served cold - couldn't believe it given I am.in Italy but perhaps it was a local thing? The waiter seemed to understand English until I asked him if it was meant to be cold. Half heartedly he said yes. I asked the Italians next to our table if this was correct and they adamantly said it shouldn't. The mussel and clam linguine was good. The mains were good without being spectacular. They weren't served with everything they were meant to - cold spuds and no veg, as had stated on the menu. Again, English was lost on the waiter all of a sudden. MY "catch of the day" sea food platter was largely overcooked and under seasoned but did have a good array of fish. It even had salmon on it which was a surprise given there can't have been any fresh salmon within a few thousand miles. The staff seemed more interested in pumping the food out and not offering any assistance but that may just have been an Italian thing. Overall a 6 to 6.5 is a fair rating for a mediocre meal which could have been so much better with a tiny bit more care.
