We had a booking at 50% off which we reserved on TheFork but when we got there the server said this was impossible. He then offered 20% off, even though the app had 30% discount slots still available for the same night. I understand that mistakes happen but we were left to make it feel like it was our fault in an unfriendly way. They refused our booking ultimately, even though we would have been happy to accept the mistake at the 30% discount they were still offering.

A beautiful spot overlooking the water. I had booked for the final day of our honeymoon and messaged ahead to let them know. There was a communication error and they had recommended that we order extra potato’s with the steak, only for it to arrive with chips, it also arrived without the mushroom and peppercorn sauce. When we first flagged it, they didn’t really acknowledge it, so I had to ask for the menu to note that it was a plain steak and missing the sauce. They then brought the sauce later when the steak was cold and whilst they removed the additional potatoes from the bill, we would have liked to have received a small gesture, if not for the fact it was our honeymoon, at least because of the mix up and the poor experience with the steak. The clam pasta was beautifully presented but was lacking a bit of flavour, and we were informed that the only wine served by the glass was a rose (which was odd). All in all, it felt very underwhelming for a special occasion.

Choice of food on the menu was very narrow, but what we have chosen was quite nice. The speed of service was way to slow. It took almost 30 min until our order was taken, another 30 min for the starters to arrive and mine arrived after my partner had finished his. Maybe they just had a bad day, it happens!
