10/10Very lovely setting in one of the weinstube in Strasbourg and the food is superb. Prices were very reasonable and the servings generous. The pork knuckle my husband ordered was delicious as was my chicken in a lovely cream sauce.

8/10Chalk boards in restaurants emphasizing chef’s recommendations should be updated daily. The chalkboard was brought to our table with the explanation that 2 items were sold out. We were one of the first sittings at 6:45 pm. Oddly when we arrived, the main ground floor dinning room was 25% full. The host looked us up on the reservation book and replied. Oh, you’re upstairs. Usually restaurants fill up the preferred main level dining then, as later customers show up, they’re told that all that’s “now” available are upstairs. It felt like they saw we booked on OT and were categorized as a lower level guest. The duck foigris starter was just standard. We’ve had much better at non Michelin restaurants. The escargot were very small and chewy like gum. Worst escargot I’ve ever experienced. The pot au feu was very tender and impressive, but needed more seasoning.

5.5/10Over all it was a good meal. It WAS NOT a Michelin star meal! I paid for that reputation and I could have cooked a better pork back at home. Not worth the investment. Service was ok with an attitude. Won’t go back.

4.5/10Delicious food. Poor service. No one was kind enough to explain the menu in English. They proposed us to use Google. Overall it was a negative experience except the food. Very nice decor, genuine traditional.

7/10Excellent food but since the owner wants to sell every seat in the space atmosphere is terrible. It’s a pity since food is really good the manager does not care - even after telling him - better to look for other places around.

6.5/10The food was very good (especially the main dish that was exceptional). The service was also ok, but not as professional and high level as the food. However , towards the end of the dinner, I had a bad experience that prevents me of going there again or recommending it, I saw a mouse running on the floor. My mistake was that I didn't inform the restaurant people about that

9.5/10Food delicious. Service a bit uneven but that’s ok. Every restaurant we’ve visited has far fewer floor staff than US so adapt. We’ve been here twice and had lots of fun. These folks can cook.

6/10We’re expected delicious food and I have to say the foie gras was delicious. Three of us ordered the veal and mushroom and cream sauce with spetzel . The view was tough and the dish was very mediocre. The fourth person in our party ordered sausage and sauerkraut. The sock was very good and the sausage was good sausage. I was so looking forward to dining there and so disappointed.
