9.5/10The food quality is great, they don’t have too many plates but what they do is amazing. The duck bao is a must. The only bad thing was that we ordered cheesecake with oreo cookie but they brought us pistachio cheesecake with no advise because regular cheesecake was sold out. I have to say that pistachio cheesecake was super good. We only want tl be asked for before to bring us something we didn’t order.

9.5/10Although a quiet Wednesday lunch In August when madrid is almost empty, the ambience was fine. The food was top notch,. Because we never had a heavier main course we tried 5 of the lighter dishes to share, plus 2 dessert . All 7 were superb , our waiter was very knowledgeable and when we explained that we were sharing all dishes, they came in an order and a pace that was very agreeable. The wine was reasonably priced, and all in all a very nice meal .sorry we can't comment on the rice dishes etc, but based on what we had and saw other people tucking into iam sure you won't be disappointed. 10/10

About the restaurant
Que con amor se llega a todas partes es algo que bien saben en este restaurante del barrio de Chamberí. Aquí encontramos amor (con mayúsculas) por la cocina tradicional, por las elaboraciones cuidadas y por los productos. En los fogones está el chef Juanjo Canals, hijo de Mari Fran Blanco (ya nos enamoró en Doña Paca), que solo con su huevo poche con foie, su taco de atún o su steak tartare clásico ya consigue que quedemos prendados. Pero el amor verdadero (el que te vuelve débil) llega con la tempura de gambón con cremosa de Kimuchi (ya sentimos las mariposas en el estómago) y se endulza con un brownie espectacular al que echamos el ojo nada más entrar.
Las alcachofas en flor confitadas son un entrante que tienes que pedir obligatoriamente si es temporada.
