Our waiter very attentive, interesting and chatty. His English is excellent as he had spent time in England and has a family member currently living there. Our food choices, in this case pizza, were perfect. One of us being a coeliac which meant that that meal had to be gluten free. Gluten free not a problem at Da Gigi. Separate cooking facilities. The GF pizza is the best experienced to date. Home made dessert 'special' - traditional Dolci milano caldo al grand marnier for non GF was great. (GF Panacota also very good). We always intended going here (checked for GF's on The Fork app); wished we had not left it 'til last evening, else would have more than once, being just 5 mins walk from hotel. Alas the heat wave (early July 2025) was a disincentive for further exploring in the evening. Good wine. Lovelly ambience, nice 'buzz', being fairly busy, everything we wanted an Italian restaurant to be for an evening meal. Gigi is our 'go to' restaurant next time we're in Milano.

The food is good! We tried the Ossobuco and were very pleased with the dish. The quantity is excellent and the flavour is also impressive. The staff were super kind and communicated well in English the whole time.

The staff were so kind and attentive! We sat inside and the ambience was nice. The antipasti was amazing. Definitely recommend their stuffed zucchini flower and calamari. The people next to us ordered pizza and that looked great as well but we had too much to eat, so we didn’t order more food.

we ordered everything seafood and the portions were generous. the 2 servers were very prompt and attentive. not much waiting needed to place order and for the dishes to arrive. loved the energetic vibes of the restaurant. true Italian hospitality.

Good food, asked for gluten free carbonara and shrimp risotto, and it was all really good and safe from gluten. Unfortunately the majority of deserts are not gluten free. The service was really. It was a bit pricey, but with the fork discount it was a fair price. Would come again
