the volnay was past its prime, likely because it had been open for a couple of days, as it is 2X the next lower red in price and likely does not get ordered very often. The St Joseph was awful right from the first sip so I sent it back. Conclusion, get better advice on the red wines you serve!

Our lunch could not have been more perfect and in a truly lovely and elegant setting. Service was beyond accommodating and engaging. We look forward to a return visit.
