Gallo Nero in Siena was one of those rare dining experiences where everything simply came together perfectly. The food was exceptional—true gourmet cuisine prepared with precision, creativity, and a deep respect for ingredients. Every dish felt thoughtfully composed and beautifully balanced. The dining room is simple and rustic, yet carefully designed with Bauhaus-style furniture and clever use of recycled materials. The result is a space that feels both elegant and relaxed. The service was nothing short of sublime. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, the staff managed to be present whenever needed without ever feeling intrusive. I have dined at several multi-star Michelin restaurants that did not come close to matching the overall experience at Gallo Nero. It is a place where outstanding food, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service combine to create something truly special. I’ll be back!

Absolutely incredible! From the service to the ambiance to the flawless presentation. Everything was perfect. Get in while you can; a Michelin star is surely on the horizon!

Very competent kitchen staff and waiters. Food was excellent. I hate to nit pick because this place is excellent and for 85 euro tasting menu is a wonderful value. Ambiance such as music, seating, seamless waiting was not quite 10/10 but still quality.

This is fucking Hogwarts of food … the owner is a crazy wizard serving the best food I ever had. Build your own menue and join the club asap.

The food was superb from the amuse bouche to the petit fours. Highlights include the chicken livers amuse bouche, the Raviolo (unbelievably good), the Lamb and the Lemon dessert. Service was excellent as is the location. Congratulations to Rocco, Chef and the team.

We loved everything about Gallo Nero from the friendly and attentive service, beautifully presented and delicious food and the lovely little extra touches…you have to go to see for yourselves. We are planning to go back.

The place its unique. Rocco, the owner, its over every detail. The quality of the products its perfect and eating here its quite an experience

Very original dishes with excellent quality of produce. Not a traditional Tuscan restaurant, the latter of which there are plenty. The restaurant nevertheless uses local produce and turns it into very original and tasty dishes. I decided on a wine pairing and was not disappointed about the quality of the wines. The restaurant setting is with lovely furniture of the 70s and the service is excellent. It could do with a bit lesss formal. Overall an excellent experience and definitely worth visiting.
