The quaint, established feel of the restaurant made you feel like you were in an authentic Venetian osteria. The menu was varied, with bruschetti, salad, pasta, beef, seafood, chicken and pork options. Their dessert menu had great options, also, and the tiramisu was delicious. The wine list is short, but also varied, and you can't go wrong with any of the selections. The location was also really great. Make a reservation, because I am sure that during the spring and summer they get full.

We were made very welcome. The restaurant feels genuine & the food & drink were delicious. Very reasonable prices for the location. Just sorry we left visiting the venue until the last evening of our stay.

Food was average. My experience was going good until payment time. The guy reacted badly when I wanted to pay in the app. He insisted on paying directly. He told me that they don’t have agreement with the app to pay online. But the app provides this option and I could pay. He was angry about it and his behavior was disrespectful.

The head waiter Armand was exceptional. Family orientated and attention to detail was personal. Food recommended was fab. Forget the menu just ask the waiter what to eat. He’ll serve you like family. Don’t leave Venice without a visit there. You will not regret it.

I saw this Hostaria recommended on a YouTube video and thought to give it a try. It exceeded all my expectations in the quality of food, the service and the ambience. Although quite expensive (isn't it everywhere in Venice?) it was worth every penny/cent. So good was it, that rather than look for anywhere else to eat on the second night and take a risk, my partner and I returned the second night and was equally thrilled by what we experienced. The menu offers typical Venetian fare as well as dishes for those less adventurous, like lasagna. The wine list was extensive and competitive in price to the other ostaria in the locality. You really cannot go wrong with "ai Coristi" and I very highly recommend it.

The waiter was smug. We shared an appetizer and an entree our portions were far less in quality than the guest that spoke Italian. We ordered a liter of less than mediocre house wine and were charged 32e explanation was price based by the glass. We were not offered parameson for our pasta nor was olive oil brought to the table for bread we took it from an other table we were still charged a cover fee. Food was less tha mediocre

Nice service and food, but had to pay 6€ “for the cutlery”. Despite that, they said the service was not included, which is totally abnormal in Italy.

Food was superb, sensible sized portions plenty of choice and waiting staff who spoke excellent English, made the evening a real treat by chatting and making us feel very welcome. Would definitely visit again, many thanks for a superb evening

I have no issues with the food , the service was good. Where this whole experience went completely wrong is we paid with the fork app. After I finished paying via the app and received the confirmation email, I then showed the lady and she ushered us inside and began to tell us we haven’t paid. I showed her the payment confirmation email and the app showing we paid. She began to get very rude and yell at us. So we waited and she called the owner and the owner says you can’t pay this way cause it’s not possible. I explained that the app had allowed me to pay so therefore it seemed that there was perhaps an issue between the restaurant and the app. The lady simply would not accept that we had paid and kept trying to make me pay again. I refused as I had already paid. She would not let me leave for almost 30 minutes and made me feel like a criminal. She also kept asking for my name, which was already on the fork app payment confirmation. I think this restaurant needs to figure out their payment methods and not treat paying customers like thieves.
