10/10This a favourite place in Rome. Always fantastic artichokes and trad roman dishes. Traditional ambience indoors and nice open area outdoors in lovely historic part of the city and great alternative to Trastevere

7.5/10It was a good experience. The waiter was nice and cordial. You must try the alcachofras and the zucchini flower! The pizza was good too.

4.5/10Not great. Artichokes are good, pasta fine, pizza not good. No ambiance, not worth a trip. Better restaurants nearby.

4/10Food used to be good about 8 years ago. Now it’s a tourist trap with below average food. At least the prices aren’t inflated. The back garden is spectacular if you can dine there.

10/10The food is excellent They are especially noted for their fried artichokes. This is truly a unique dish. But it does not stop with the artichokes. The pasta dishes as well as the fish and meat are outstanding.

6.5/10We had a reservation and wanted an inside table because it was cool. They said there was no space available so we sat outside in the cold and they turned on a heater which ran out of gas. They brought the artichokes, which were good and the reason we went there and forgot the soup which my cold cold cold freezing cold friend was desperate for after repeated reminders. By then she was so unhappy I'm sure there will be nothing I can do to warm her up for a long time. We won't be going back.

10/10Thank you for the wonderful dinner and service. Our server engaged our 9 year old nephew, Nicholas, in a very sweet way that made him feel special. We come here every time we come to Roma. Excellent restaurant.

9/10We ate outside and the odour of the sewer was unpleasant. But the staf was friendly and the dood delicious. We didnt receive our 20% discount; we forgot it and were at home when we thought of it. Thats a pity.

4.5/10Terrible service, we had to ask three times for a beer and three times for the bill. The steak was ordered medium well and came rare and poor quality meat. My pasta was hard (not al dente!). It’s obviously a popular place as it was busy but I would not recommend and we were overall very disappointed.

4/10We booked for 3 and were really amazed by the internal garden which embeds a modern mosaic with ancient Roman statues embodied in the walls. The food didn't match the ambience though. We ordered two appetizers: the middle eastern plate and the ghetto one. The ghetto appetizer was delicious, and the artichoke a la Judea was delicious. Too bad that the appetizer has very few things and comes at a cost of 12€. Definitively, it does not live to its expectations as just two restaurants down the road (Da Giggetto) they give you a bunch of them at the same price. The middle eastern appetizer was horrific. We had four decent falafel accompanied with wannabe-hummus, tahini and eggplant sauce. Being Lebanese, the sauces were an insult to the cousin. The hummus was dripping and it seemed as it were diluted in water. The bread was excellent however. When the first course came (we ordered pasta cacio and pepe revisited with artichokes, lazagna stuffed with artichokes, and pasta with artichokes and clams) we were horrified by the cooking of the pasta. It seemed like cement and it didn't even have one bit of salt in it. My cacio and pepe with artichokes wasn't a cacio and pepe at all. I had to order parmesan (I don't think it even was parmesan) separately and put the entire plate on my pasta just for it to have a more decent taste. Their homemade red wine was sour and it tasted exactly as red wine vinegar. The total bill came to be 91.5€ and they added two extra baskets of bread when we only had two and not four. Whatever, the bread was the only thing that had a taste at least. Our meal would've been better if the personnel gave us some olive oil and a bit of salt for us to dip bread into and eat. That's it for the food. I'd rate it 3/10. On our way to the cashier, we required to split the bill into three halves and wanted to pay by card. They were having internet problems which is understandable. However, when I paid before my two friends, they issued me a receipt before finishing the paper roll. After 5 minutes they brought a new paper roll, and my other two friends paid. The cashier insisted for quite a bit that I didn't pay and got my receipt to verify that the transaction ID wasn't the same as that on the receipts of my friends. While all this was happening, our waiter, Michael, a Syrian or Palestinian, lost his temper to his barman because the latter made a coffee with cold milk instead of hot milk. It was pretty funny as the cashier had to ask him in Arabic to not do this in front of customers. I'm not sure of the taste that tourists have when eating there, but the cousin for someone that is Italian is horrendous.

10/10Best people, best service, best food, best restaurant. Hands down a must if your anywhere near Roma. We stubbled upon it while walking thru the Jewish Ghetto made a reservation around 4 for 7:30pm. The house red is affordable and now one of my favorite wines. We then made reservation two night later and brought our friends. They agreed best restaurant! Make a reservation it can get quite busy. We saw them turn several people away.

8.5/10The food is great, good the quality and the taste. The waiters are really kind and nice, they only should pay a bit more attention to some details even if there are a lot of people. The place is good too, the inner room of the restaurant is very nice and characteristic. If possible, I will come back for sure.
