The place is authentic. Decoration, music and of course the food itself. It is a bit challenging to accommodate for dietary restrictions though.

We ordered one vegetarian plate and one with meat. The waiter asked if I eat meat at all and I said no. She brought one plate for us with veg and non-veg food. When asked she agreed to separate them but a part of meat disappeared - probably she put it on a plate for someone else. It took them 60 min to prepare the food. We were sitting close to the counter right next to the kitchen and saw at lest 3 cockroaches comfortably running around. The food was mediocre. Disappointing to say the least.

First of all, passionate owners, know how to introduce people to the cuisine, great tasting food. Would definitely revommend this to anybody who likes or wants to try Ethiopian food. I did not know anything about this cuisine, but now I want to try more. All eaten with the galette style bread, no cutlery. A real experience. Just to manage expectations, the ambiance is a bit shrill, and basic, but fits well with the theme. Just go with the flow.
