10/10I booked a table to celebrate my partner's birthday, I chose Lars because of the interesting menu and the different location. The food was exquisite and the wine pairings were excellent; especially the spätlese merlot, an inspired choice for dessert. The staff were friendly and helpful, without being overbearing.

6.5/10Overall, not a great experience. The good is average, portions are really small. Nobody offered me to won or asked me what I wanted to drink...No sweets offered next to coffee. There are better restaurants in Amsterdam and many better restaurants for the price they ask,

9.5/10The food is as good as you can find anywhere. Exciting and exceptional quality. The staff are friendly and engaging whilst retaining professionalism and knowledge. The only negative is the location of the restaurant being some way out of town, but it is actually well worth the added miles!

6.5/10The restaurant, offered a pleasant ambience and the service was good. We ordered the 11-course tasting menus, one vegetarian and one regular. While the presentation of the dishes was pleasing, the flavors often leaned towards unnecessary complexity, occasionally falling just flat. In summary, it was a decent dinner: we left thinking if extended tasting menus should still be a thing and if, even for technically skilled chefs, simply focusing on more balanced flavors would be a better strategy to create something memorable.

10/10Good quality of fine dining. Simply the best in my trip. Waiting time was a bit long. Since it is far away from city center, need to allocate more time if you are planning to do something after the meal.

Genomineerd voor TheFork Restaurants Awards 2019 Lars A'dam is een horecaconcept ontwikkeld door Lars Scharp en Floor Wiggers. Dit creatieve koppel ontmoette elkaar enkele jaren geleden bij Restaurant Aan de Poel **. Zij creëren samen een restaurant waarbij je een combinatie vindt van fine-dining en robuuste gerechten. Een huiskamer restaurant gevestigd in de Houthavens van Amsterdam. Lars begon zijn koksopleiding bij onder andere Paul Fagel en Robert Kranenborg. De Franse keuken is zijn passie, maar in zijn gerechten zijn ook Aziatische invloeden terug te vinden. Het werken met dagverse producten van de hoogste kwaliteit staat voorop. Floor is gestart bij Ron Blaauw en heeft haar passie voor gastronomie opgedaan in verschillende gerenommeerde restaurants. Haar liefde voor gastvrijheid is aanstekelijk en inspirerend. “Als gasten zich thuis voelen in ons restaurant is dat het allergrootste compliment.” Producten van hoge kwaliteit gecombineerd met de beste service is de filosofie van Lars A'dam.
