It was a beautiful and delicious experience. Just note that the tables are quite close to each other, so it may not offer the most private or quiet atmosphere. Still, the food was exceptional.

The evening was a wonderful experience. Our expectations were exceeded by far. We have rarely eaten at such a high level, not only the flavour but also the details of the dishes on offer were outstanding. Add to that the really wonderful service from Chris and the ambience of an old ‘canal’ house, it doesn't get any better than that!

The food was perfect with wine pairings, I have done a menu course before in Europe, this was one of my favorites so far. If you are in Amsterdam and you love and appreciate good food go to De Silveren Spiegel, They really complete my birthday week in a beautiful city of Amsterdam. The wine parings brings the experience to completion.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our tenth anniversary at De Silveren Spiegel. The servers were knowledgeable and attentive, the food was as delicious as it was beautiful, and the atmosphere was serene and historic. I have dined all over the world at some of the best Michelin * restaurants this is without a doubt 2* worthy Each dish was delightful (8 course set menu) there was not a dish I didn’t enjoy! I think I went through 3 breads throughout the meal as they even got that right. Flavours complimented each other throughout the meal to make for a wonderful evening. Staff were so friendly, informative and attentive making conversation with everyone adding to a more personal experience. You will most certainly be seeing me again!

Exceptional fine dining that deserves at least 1 Michelin star. I say this as my partner and fine dine regularly across the world. The restaurant is located in a historic old house and the dining room decor is tastefully set. The waiters are open to conversation (which we like!) and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Each course is exceptionally prepared, well balanced and full of flavour. We choose not to have the wine pairings, which we regret as we heard a number of other diners mention that they were impressed by the wines served and quality. Of note we could also see that diners were given a decent amount of wine for each course that is not always the case! Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates fine dining.
