10/10This was a total outstanding experience from the moment we walked in to the minute we left. Waiter (forgot to get name) greeted us, super nice person/greeting. Seated immediately. Bread and water brought out promptly before menus. Finger appetizers were great tease for what was to come. All wonderfully flavorful. We had the six course. All outstandingly done. Some highlights - sea bass was perfectly cooked with associated flavors that were complementary but didn’t overwhelm the fish. Quail was delicious - the sauce was amazing, mushroom puree unbelievable, sweetbreads was perfectly prepared and fresh, dessert was a great ending. Service was impeccable, timely but not I teetering with our meal. This is a must stop if you are in Amsterdam. Worth going out of the way for!

This chef and staff live up to the hype. Every dish was more spectacular than the next, both in visual presentation and taste. Great wine pairing by Jim. What a magical experience.

10/10The food, service and ambiance were out of this world. Our server, Harry, was simply amazing. He was well versed on the food and history of the building. He was so joyful. The food was so creative and delicious. This is restaurant is a must-do on the list! If I am ever in Amsterdam again, I will most definitely eat here again!

10/10Our second time there and the food, service and atmosphere couldn’t be better. It’s really a special place with lovely, well-balanced food (we had the 8 course tasting menu) and a great wine pairing. A family owned restaurant with fantastic character and commitment.

+4A perfect venue for a quiet business dinner. It would also have been perfect to dine with my spouse. The service was impeccable and it included the history about the house and the gentleman who owned it in the 1800’s. The gentlemen servers were very professional. I will definitely return on my next trip. The restaurant is close to the AMS Central station.

10/10The restaurant is beautiful and in an amazing historic building. We got the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairings. The presentation of the dishes was spectacular. The food was delicious and the wine pairings were lovely. The food was on par with any of the Michelin star restaurants I have visited!

10/10The evening was a wonderful experience. Our expectations were exceeded by far. We have rarely eaten at such a high level, not only the flavour but also the details of the dishes on offer were outstanding. Add to that the really wonderful service from Chris and the ambience of an old ‘canal’ house, it doesn't get any better than that!

10/10The food was perfect with wine pairings, I have done a menu course before in Europe, this was one of my favorites so far. If you are in Amsterdam and you love and appreciate good food go to De Silveren Spiegel, They really complete my birthday week in a beautiful city of Amsterdam. The wine parings brings the experience to completion.
