10/10I have dined all over the world at some of the best Michelin * restaurants this is without a doubt 2* worthy Each dish was delightful (8 course set menu) there was not a dish I didn’t enjoy! I think I went through 3 breads throughout the meal as they even got that right. Flavours complimented each other throughout the meal to make for a wonderful evening. Staff were so friendly, informative and attentive making conversation with everyone adding to a more personal experience. You will most certainly be seeing me again!

10/10+4Exceptional fine dining that deserves at least 1 Michelin star. I say this as my partner and fine dine regularly across the world. The restaurant is located in a historic old house and the dining room decor is tastefully set. The waiters are open to conversation (which we like!) and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Each course is exceptionally prepared, well balanced and full of flavour. We choose not to have the wine pairings, which we regret as we heard a number of other diners mention that they were impressed by the wines served and quality. Of note we could also see that diners were given a decent amount of wine for each course that is not always the case! Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates fine dining.

10/10We have traveled to many countries all over the world and the food at De Silveren Spiegel was remarkable. It was beautifully displayed and tasted better than your eyes could even know. The owner was hands on at every table and she was charmingly engaging. Our waiter was delightful and described each plate in such a way that it made you salivate before the first bite. The owner was kind enough to allow us to meet and congratulate the chef. The entire experience was extraordinary. Please do not miss the opportunity to partake in this one of a kind establishment.

10/10This is our best meal in Amsterdam. Impressed by the Chef’s creativity and ability in striking a balance among different ingredients. Could feel the Japanese element in some courses. The presentation of each course is beautiful and the food itself is flavourful. Will definitely come again!

10/10+3Truly the highlight of our time in Amsterdam. The service was top notch and the 6 course meal was unlike anything I have ever experienced. Delightful presentation, delicious flavors and sublime presentation were clearly the reason this is a Michelin starred restaurant t! Definitely reserve far in advance and you will find your wait well worth it!!

10/10+4We chose the 6-course tasting menu and the recommended wines. Everything was delicious, the combinations of flavors extraordinary, and visually stunning as you can see from the photos. The service was excellent … top notch, but not stuffy. This is a family-operated restaurant in a historic building. All the staff are very friendly and helpful if you care to engage them in conversation about the food and wine. Would highly recommend.

10/10We had a perfect evening at De Silveren Spiegel. We had the 6 course tasting menu with the accompanying wines. Everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was warm and welcoming. It was expensive but memorable and worth it!
