Food was outstanding. We have eaten at Michelin restaurants before and this was by far the best food.

+3Everything was perfect. This is the first time I've eaten at a fine dining restaurant and loved each course. The chef is so talented and his family (wife and parents) out front provided incredible service from beginning to end. It's worth coming to Amsterdam for!

Fantastic ambience and service! Family was running this restaurant for 25 years and it is a real gem. The food, service and the entire experience is certainly Michelin star level

An amazing experience . We were two couples, enjoyed a wonderful meal. All the dishes are beautiful, rich in magnificent aromas and tastes. We did the wine pairing that was great, Highly recommended

An interesting house - food flavours that were new to us, accompanied but wines new to us. We came away satisfied but not full, mellow but not drunk - a good way to start our weekend in Amsterdam.

I have enjoyed some fine meals in my life. I have never had a meal where each course was so perfectly curated with color, flavor, presentation… it was a culinary experience I highly recommend!

+5The food is amazing, plating, arrangements and the taste is level is next level, the staff (Chris) awesome and the ambience (being able to eat inside the house that was built in 1614 is fantastic). Overall im giving them 10/10. The price is also good for a Michelin star resto. Will definitely recommend.

This was a total outstanding experience from the moment we walked in to the minute we left. Waiter (forgot to get name) greeted us, super nice person/greeting. Seated immediately. Bread and water brought out promptly before menus. Finger appetizers were great tease for what was to come. All wonderfully flavorful. We had the six course. All outstandingly done. Some highlights - sea bass was perfectly cooked with associated flavors that were complementary but didn’t overwhelm the fish. Quail was delicious - the sauce was amazing, mushroom puree unbelievable, sweetbreads was perfectly prepared and fresh, dessert was a great ending. Service was impeccable, timely but not I teetering with our meal. This is a must stop if you are in Amsterdam. Worth going out of the way for!

This chef and staff live up to the hype. Every dish was more spectacular than the next, both in visual presentation and taste. Great wine pairing by Jim. What a magical experience.

The food, service and ambiance were out of this world. Our server, Harry, was simply amazing. He was well versed on the food and history of the building. He was so joyful. The food was so creative and delicious. This is restaurant is a must-do on the list! If I am ever in Amsterdam again, I will most definitely eat here again!

Our second time there and the food, service and atmosphere couldn’t be better. It’s really a special place with lovely, well-balanced food (we had the 8 course tasting menu) and a great wine pairing. A family owned restaurant with fantastic character and commitment.
