A friend invited me to Frères Romano for my 50th birthday. I chose Frères Romano over the Michelin star Villa Lorraine. Impeccable, friendly and rapid service from beginning to end followed, beginning when one of the Freres came to help my friend park his fairly large 60s Rolls-Royce in the rather small parking lock. The food was absolutely delicious, worthy of a Michelin star restaurant but without the price and restricted/pretentious menu. All the courses followed, in prompt succession. This is a world of difference to the average restaurant in Belgium, where service can be agonizingly slow. What more can you ask for beyond delicious food and friendly service with a super-high quality standard? Highly recommended.

Menu is fantastic and versatile. Matron and patron very friendly. Bouche amuse good, bread delicious. Everything we ate was delicious but the Crepe Normandie crowned the meal.

Everything went perfect! Food was great, we got little complimentary snacks that tasted great as well. Very friendly, cozy, yet elegant atmosphere. We had some deer and beef dishes, all was delicious.

This is a little gem of a restaurant. A real family atmosphere, they make you feel really welcome, they serve great food and they have a wine list which is not long but is superb and fairly priced. The only point to note is that you do need to be able to speak some French.
