4.5/10There is nothing more disappointing than poor service. Actually, food not cooked well is worse. This was an experience to which I looked forward, eating at Le Bistro. First, the matre'd rude and disrespectful. I made a reservation and I promptly arrived on time. The matre'd said he didn't have a reservation under my name before stating, " We rarely have tables open." As I looked over the quarter ham full dining room, I showed him my reservation. He finally seated me. Throughout my stay, the tone and language from the matre'd were condescending. I watch white men come in who were treated differently. Secondly, the food. While the first incident only applies to some, this last comment is for all. Overpriced, under seasoned, and overcooked meat. The squash flower with Chantelles and hazelnuts were under seasoned. The pork was dry and underseasoned. Worst, it's over-priced. To Chef Armel Bedouet, thank you for creating an experience to be enjoyed. Your thoughtful and crafted meal was undermined by your staff. It is a shame to have your creation destroyed.

8/10We booked on The Fork and when we got there they said they were fully booked and that the person who dealt with the “electronic” bookings wasn’t there. They were rude and unhelpful. Eventually offering a table at the bar which was very acceptable. A shame they couldn’t offer that before their poor customer service.

7.5/10Overall, the ambience and food were good and portions were just nice. The service, though friendly and earnest, could have been more polished. E.g. There were 2 persons at the table but only one pad of butter. There were no side plates for the bread. The waiter didn't take time to explain the menu, or the plat du jour.

8.5/10Had a business lunch with one of my client. Setting is good with a bistro modern chic feeling. Meals were good with the wine-pairing. However, the tables are bit tight to accommodate all (salat, french fries & toasts). Service was not exceptional. Having booked this table using the Fork made this lunch (price wise acceptable), without it would have felt a bit overpriced.
