👎👎👎👎👎 major disappointment! I have been to catrin before and something has changed in the kitchen because the gringa pastor is absolutely horrendous the recipe has changed completely the tortilla the cheese and the meat are different and it now tastes terrible, i will never go back. We ordered 3 and it was unedible we left them complete.

El Catrín is a great restaurant to go to, the staff was kind and patient with us and even took time to explain the dishes, And they’re vegetarian/ vegan options are really good, and the overall vibe of the restaurant is really nice, I highly recommend to check them out.

10/10I’ve been to El Catrin quite a few times in the past but this was one of the memorable visit from a culinary standpoint. First time I tried the Gringas and they were superbly tasty, especially the chicken. Also the refriend beans with the nachos was super thick, tasty & creamy, and the tacos rocked as always (highlight today was the Pork Pastor). And the margarita to go with was well loaded, and tasty. Will be returning very shortly! Nice and quick service, mellow vibe on a Sunday, which possibly helped with the former (it’s usually packed)! Great job 👏🏻

8/10This place has the best tacos in Geneva, and that's the only reason I keep coming back. But there are two things that always bug me: First, the limes. We ordered eight tacos for two people and got just a quarter of a lime. I asked for more and got two more quarters. As a Mexican, I’m used to using a lot more lime on my tacos. Luckily, I had one in my bag from grocery shopping and used it. I felt a little awkward, but it saved the meal. Honestly, they should add “extra lime” as a menu item. I’d happily pay for a proper portion. Second, when they bring your order, all the tacos are mixed together.. You have to figure out which ones are yours and take them from the other person’s side. I’ve never seen this in Mexico or at any other Mexican restaurant. The staff at El Catrín seemed to think it was totally normal. Service is okay, prices are typical for Geneva, and the food is great. Just be ready to sort your tacos and bring your own citrus.

5.5/10Our old favorite is losing its luster. Once the best Mexican food in Switzerland, we had overly salted appetizers and cold enmoladas on this visit. Coupled with bad service these are signs of an increasingly lazy restaurant which makes me sad.
