Two of the older gentleman working there made the experience top notch. They were funny, personable and very kind. We were sitting outside and I had forgotten about pickpockets and sat my purse on the seat next to me, closest to the sidewalk where someone could easily grab it. One of the older gentleman came over and looked at it meaningfully until I remembered the dangers. Then they had us cracking up at their antics and storytelling throughout dinner. I recommend going partially to be able to enjoy these gentlemen’s company.

The restaurant was warm and welcoming. The food and wine were excellent. We were party of 4 and we all enjoyed our dinner.

However, we find your comment about the presence of tourists quite odd. We are in the center of Rome, one of the most visited cities in the world—wouldn’t it be strange if there were no tourists? And since you were one of them yourself, it makes us wonder what exactly the issue is. Good food and excellent service don’t distinguish between locals and visitors—we welcome everyone with the same dedication and care. If you decide to return, we’ll be happy to surprise you with something special!

Very nice and friendly personnel. Delicious food! The pizzas are amazing, perfect Italian in forno dough. Pasta and desert were also excellent. Totally recommend it

Great food and drink at a reasonable price. Lots of specials that aren't on the menu. The walk back to Termini station is abit dodgy at night. Take care.

Le caveauThe plates were returned clean, photos of the place can be found on Google, The Fork, Tripadvsor, and when asked if everything was fine, the answer was affirmative. And then... surprise, the power of the keyboard!

+2The food is excellent at Le caveau! We had appetizers, pasta with seafood, and dessert. Ll were amazing! The wait staff and ambiance is also excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is the best restaurant we’ve visited in Rome. Every dish is soooo good! We went there twice! Its seafood spaghetti and risotto are very delicious deserve a try!
