Amazing food, staff and vibe. The owner of the restaurant was overseeing the service and was checking on all of the customers. Not too intrusive but respectful. Got this as a recommendation from a local driver. Worth the drive away from the tourist area. They spoke good English or Italian. Then offered to call us a taxi upon completion of our meal so we weren’t stuck trying to walk around or flag down a taxi. Super impressed!

We went there May 5 for my Fiancé birthday and the restaurant surprise us at the end with a dessert and a happy birthday song for her. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful.

I made a reservation on Christmas Eve, I had the apperitivo, primo piatto e secondo. Everything was wonderful. I sat outside and they could've lighten the fire for me, but besides that, everything was amazing. Had a wonderful experience.

The food is bland and cold at some parts. It would have been better if they served simple italian food on the menu for new years eve, and not as if it is from a fancy restaurant. Pretentious - the term to describe the whole menu, at best.

We visited the restaurant last night, and the food was decent. We would highly recommend the pasta with tomato and basil, which tasted really good, as well as their tiramisu. However, the semifreddo dessert was rock-hard and lacked flavor. The service was friendly, but we had to wait more than 40 minutes for our food, and some of our drinks were initially forgotten.

DELICIOUS!!! off the beaten path. Close to Roma Termini and Colosseum part of town! The most delicious pasta dishes! The Carbonara….(chef’s kiss) and their Pomodorella (spicy pomodoro) out of this world…let’s not forget the tiramisu that was unlike any other I’ve ever tasted. This is a little hidden gem and well worth a visit! We went twice during our visit to Rome. Super friendly staff as well! Mauricio was so nice and funny, really made our night!

Lovely restaurant with even lovelier food and people. You must try anything that has tomato/tomato sauce at this place, it is scrumptious. The carbonara is the best at the Esquilino area and it shows. Try the pannacotta! Bacci from Portugal
