This is a really typical Lyon restaurant! The quality of food for the price is really good! Although it is a typical restaurant the room is quite big so the noise level is actually ok. The atmosphere is really great, the personnel very friendly and amiable and efficient! We really had a great dinner, et nous nous sommes régalés !!! Merci beaucoup!

Excellent choice for €22 lunchtime menu. The gâteau de foie de volaille and the caviar d’aubergine were both well presented and delicious. The poitrine de cochon was unusually served with cheese and sweet and sour sesame sauce and was excellent. Desserts; tuile au citron meringuée in particular is to be recommended, whilst the fondant au chocolat tasted good. Friendly service completed the excellent experience.

We enjoyed our dinner in this establishment. For the most part. While the food was good to very good, the service was at best adequate. Although the restaurant was not crowded at the time (7pm) we were there, the waiter was distant and appeared to want to be anywhere but waiting on us. The meal was rushed, too. The wine and the appetizers arrived before we finished our aperitifs, and the main course came within minutes after we finished the appetizers. I felt a need to ask the waiter not to bring dessert until after we finished our wine. I can get this kind of service in NYC; I don’t need or want it in France.

Very obliging waiters as we were early to eat. The starter was delicious, tarte tatin des chalottes caramélisée , the mains were good, I had andouillette and you had quenelle of pike, both excellent. We shared a pain Perdue dessert, slightly disappointing, was largely a slice not really ´perdué and not enough caramel sauce, but nice enough.

Very authentic Lyonnaise food and atmosphere. Excellent place if you want to immerse yourself into the true Lyonnaise culture without being treated like a tourist. We definitely recommend this place.

As I have come to expect -superbly good (these guys knows « sauce and jus » like nowhere else on earth). Listen to the waiters advise on the mains And do not pass up the profiteroles ! Divine sublime and very fine!

Excellent food. Head waiter excellent but girl was a little too chatty with other staff. She was slow at clearing plates and no salt and pepper on table. Otherwise food was lovely.
