9/10We happened onto this little cafe/bistro as another would not let us just sit for a coffee without eating. The cappuccino was superb. We drink them all over Paris and rate each one. This is in our top 2. We liked how pleasant the staff was that we decided to go back for dinner. I made a reservation and was thrilled that the service and the establishment were all in sync. They have limited options on the menu but my salad was one of the best I have eaten in Paris and I eat them everywhere. We are on our 20th day so that is a lot of salad and this was by far my fav. The ingredients were so super fresh and the dressing was so light and gingery. My husband had the Bœuf bourguignon...which was also super fresh, We just moved to this neighborhood so we can not wait to go back to this bisto and try other dishes and make this our local cafe while we are living in this part of Paris. P.S, the service was exceptional and the wines were delightful. All around a great evening.

10/10A relaxing casual atmosphere. Delicious food, satisfying amounts. Fun music (late 80s-early 90s that evening). Clean environment. Friendly staff.

6/10A nice student’s hanging up place but not a place for fine dining. Looks like most guests are there for a beer rather than for a meal and food quality matches the expectations of a low budget student. Staff is responsive and helpful and ambience is youthful but service is worthy of a pub rather than a restaurant. When a coaster is tossed on the table rather than put in place it tells what is to be expected.

10/10We really enjoyed the lively atmosphere, attentive service and the food here. Prices were more than reasonable and in particular, the wine by the glass was the most inexpensive we’ve seen in Paris. It seemed most if not all of the clientele were locals. We had the duck confit and a beef short rib special and both were terrific.

9.5/10Le Parisien doesn’t have a long menu, but everything on it, they do really well: no frills, solid french cusine, great value and very friendly, attentive staff. We will come back, especially for the amazing desserts, ice cream and sorbets. Salmon tartare, confit de canard were both good and the omelette was one of the best we’ve ever had.

7/10Food surpringly good for a cafe/bar atmosphere. Unfortunately, although we’ were far back from the open front, cigarette smoke was wafted our way,, so we left earlier tab planned.
