7.5/10We had a nice time at dinner. It was "cool" to be out in the tube, however there was no real view of the Christmas Market, despite being sat near the window. The fondue was very good, in particular the beef fondue, which although pricey, was delicious. All in all something different to do with good food and service.

7/10Decided to try this for our first night in Montreux and our first fondue. The tubes look amazing - esp at night - we were a bit early so had a cocktail in the hotel first and then came back for 8.30pm - we were seated right away. Beautiful stove in the tube so it's not cold - lovely experience - there was a large table of approx 14 or more and we were seated right beside it so it was quite noisy but that didn't really annoy us. As it was our first fondue, we didn't know what to expect - we enjoyed the food but having been to other restaurants since, the fondue served in the tube is very basic. The beef fondue uses a broth rather than a cheese and the cheese fondue, while very tasty, is served with chunks of really ordinary bread and that's it - no dried meats, baby potatoes or cornichons which are served with other fondue in the area. All in all it was a good experience because of the location but food wise there really are much better experiences to try.

9.5/10Everything went perfectly on this visit, as the 'tube' specially created for fondue lovers in the open space was well heated, and it was great experience to enjoy perfectly prepared fondue with a fine glass (or two) of Dezaley chasselas with friends. The service staff were friendly, most flexible to assign us good seats so we could have a good, quiet time even if the 'tube' was fully booked.
