Average sushi overall. Tuna one had a canned tuna in it, which is very weird and never seen anywhere else before. Beautiful setting makes up for it.

Actually the restaurant is good for Montreux, but I was a little bit disappointed with the high rating in THE FORK and an absolutely ordinary quality of the dishes. Nigiri was good, especially tuna, hamachi and eel, fish is fresh and the rice was well cooked, but nothing special. If you have been in Japan and in a real Japanese restaurants in many different countries as ll over the world- not sure it's necessary to visit this place. But if you need just a good selection of sushi for a lunch - it's the right place! Be honest, Montreux is not a gastronomic capital of the region... looking for the restaurants level around- this one is pretty good!

Went there on New Year’s Eve to a packed house. Always a good sign! did not disappoint. We had a lot of sushi and all was tasty. Loved the decor as well.

Great service, location and decorum. The issue was the sushi was not made to order. It was very obvious that all of the sushi was made at least a day earlier. Also the quality was very poor. You might as well have bought sushi at the grocery store and saved 75% of the cost. I was very disappointed but should have known. The place was empty except for one other couple at 7 pm on a Thursday night. An obvious “Tourist Trap”. Advice you avoid and try other venues or the grocery store. I am Japanese and cannot recall a worst experience except at those “ all you can eat places”.
