We had a great time at Mariscaria! It had great outdoor seating and wasn’t too crowded. The food was excellent. I had the sea bass, my husband and son had the octopus, and my 10 year old had the kiddie meal - which came with a dessert he loved. Everyone loved their main courses. The mussels & shrimp were so good as an appetizer. Highly recommend!

Sure! Here’s a shorter, more natural version: ⸻ We loved our time at Mariscaria! Fred and Paulo were so kind and friendly! they made us feel really welcome. The sangria was the best we’ve had, and the food was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

Served us food different from what we ordered. Served the wrong food at the table next to us. Served us a wine different what we ordered and then tried to charge us over twice the amount of our original wine cost. Didn't trust paying with a credit card to paid adjusted bill and got slipped a pound coin in change rater than euro. Other than that, food was OK.

Was hoping for a good seafood soup and very disappointed that it was basically a tomato soup with “specs” of so called seafood, compared to fish soups elsewhere was a huge disappointment and server said it’s “minced” and no offer to correct. Then also with the main fish dish of sea bream the potatoes were not fully cooked and warm at best. Definitely a disappointment and would not recommend.

Was here sunday noon with a friend. at 12:30. First guests. Ordered wine, two starters, two mains. The ordered wine was not available, in the end the alternative wine recommendation was 10€ more expensive and only mediocre. After 1 1/2 hours waiting time I asked for the starters. One maincourse was delivered. They forgot or ignored the order of two starters and one maincourse! Unbelievable. The very friendly waiter was supposedly slightly drunk or uncapable. We had to share the spider crab which was good. Left the restaurant with anger and disappointed. Seems to be a tourist restaurant. Dont go there. The staff of the shown website does not correspond with our todays experience.

Disappointing and expensive for what you're served. Sea food had no taste at all and mussels and shrimps on the "Mariscada" dish for 2 people were really tiny, Really far from the quality of food that Portugal is famous for...

I booked way in advance and no reply. Suddenly 20 min before booking time, email asking us for confirmation. The seafood was average, nothing in particular worth to mention.

I have been seeking Percebes (goose barnacles) for over 20 years. I found them here for a very reasonable rate and they were amazing with the flavor of clams (sort of) and the essence of the Atlantic Ocean. The service was very good even though the restaurant was full (make reservation). Furthermore, the location in the town of Cascais was a joy to stroll through, and the park/arboretum is beautiful and informative. You fulfilled a gastrnomique wish. Obrigado!

Was very disappointed with the fried octopus I choose. The vegetables were lukewarm and it didn’t have a great deal of flavour. One of the party ordered tuna steak and the waiter didn’t even ask how it we wanted it cooked and we had to ask for it to be medium/rare. When it arrived it was more medium/well done and looked quite dry and not very appealing. The other two guests in the party had the seafood rice which they thoroughly enjoyed. There was a tv in the restaurant and there was rather a violent/bloody film playing which was not really suitable when eating. The staff were pleasant, and the place was cleaned, however I would not visit again or recommend as there are better places to eat in Cascais.

The food was good The service was marginal. Our waiter spent more time talking with the other staff than servicing us. Dirty dishes were left until we flagged the waiter to remove them.
