What an amazing experience! The owner and his wife really put their hearts and souls into creating a lovely dining experience. The entrées were flavorful and delicious, the bottle of wine he hand picked for us and the delicious dessert all rounded out a fantastic meal. We are certain to tell our friends and return again. A charming, relaxed restaurant tucked away in a quiet street just a few hundred metres from the business of Cascais. Traditional Portuguese dishes and matched expertly with great local wines. Such friendly owner and staff.

The host is very friendly and offered us the opportunity to sit either inside or outside. The service was excellent. Our grilled fish was very tasty and I was delighted to be able to have a gin and tonic as I’m not a wine drinker. (There is a huge choice of wines in this restaurant. ) We got sorbet when we ordered ice cream (but ate it anyway). We sat at a high table as there were only two of us but I find it uncomfortable not being able to put my feet on the floor. (I’m sure we could have moved if we’d asked as there was plenty of room but I’m not sure what the advantage of having high tables is). We would recommend this restaurant and we have been here on previous visits to Cascais.

Food was excellent...service was great with awesome conversation and recommendations. The atmosphere is quiet, but with a neighborhood feel. Definitely a welcome departure for a super enjoyable meal outside the bustle.

Fantastic and quiet end of Cascais. Extremely friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of the meal. If you want to delve into Portuguese wine, this is your place. It’s a shame we don’t live here otherwise it’d be somewhere we frequent often.

This gem of a restaurant tucked away off the main square was the best find of our entire trip. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere charming, and the staff, including the owner himself, was beyond attentive. There are only 6 or 7 tables so definitely make a reservation. You will not be disappointed.

The restaurant is run by a wonderful couple and the food is delicious. The service was wonderful, attentive without being overwhelming. The owner suggested a wine that paired perfectly with the dishes we ordered. The octopus in vinaigrette and the fish stew were amazing! I’d definitely recommend, but make reservations if you want to sit inside.
