The Portuguese Grilled Steak was amazing. We have never eaten anything similar and would love to master the technique ourselves. What a totally pleasurable experience. The ambience, the service, and of course the food were all outstanding. We highly recommend this wonderful iconic restaurant.

A truly memorable evening at Café de São Bento, Cascais. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderfully romantic meal, made all the more special by the excellent, attentive service from our waiter, Gustavo, who struck the perfect balance of warmth and professionalism throughout the evening. We started with the steak tartare—fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. This was followed by their signature steaks, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Paired with a lovely local red wine, everything came together effortlessly. To finish, a very tasty Negroni rounded off the night perfectly. An elegant, relaxed atmosphere, outstanding food, and exceptional service. A fantastic dining experience and one we’ll be happily talking about for a while. 🍷🥩✨

One of my favorite restaurants, we've been to the Lisbon restaurant three times and wanted to try the Cascais one. We weren't disappointed, it was fabulous, the food was as expected....great, the service five star-second to none and we always love the old world charm of the place, just gorgeous. The staff really are so good at making you feel special and always welcome, they love their restaurant and it shows.
