We had a great time at Museo Chicote. We were quickly and pleasantly greeted upon walking in the door and immediately sat at our reserved table. The service was quite attentive for Madrid and hospitable throughout. We ordered off menu for cocktails (albeit classic cocktails - Old Fashioned and Cosmo) for our first round and had a round of the house white and red for our second. The OF was a tad sweet for my taste, but well made and my wife loved her Cosmo. We had the grilled eggplant as a starter and the sliced steak braised pork jowl as our mains. Every bite was eaten and it was all quite tasty. Would definitely come back here again.

Fantastic ambience, food - crispy pork on smash potatoes and prawn tartare on Russian salad & the Spanish cheesecake. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Love this place

Amazing and attentive service by Isa, and the historical ambience is impressive. This is a great place for drinks, but doesn’t rank very high in my book on the dining scale. My wife ordered the beef, which was really tough and had to be returned, but it wasn’t much better when they brought out another plate. The diners adjacent to us had the exact same experience. Better to eat elsewhere and then come here to cap off the evening with drinks. It really was a memorable experience for us, in spite of the food. I would give it five stars if it were just a bar. Many thanks to Isa for making it a special time!

The bar area was good and we enjoyed our cocktails and the setting in general. However when we proceeded to our booked table for Entercote dinner, we were shocked at what was served. After our complaints they removed the food from our table and we left without eating. Restaurant area CAN NOT be recommended at all
