9.5/10Excellent staff, and delicious food and wine in a friendly rustic atmosphere. We had a delightful waiter that guided us through food and wine advice on our first Trieste dinner. Delicious Jota, Goulash, Ham...lovely Terrano, and bitters and grappa! We felt proper cared for and enjoyed every single bite!

10/10Nice small restaurant, foods were good, the service I can say TOP because I ordered Jota and I felt it was too salty for me, i said it was fine I still could eat it with the bread as the balance but one of the waiter said the kitchen will adjust to less salty. They did! We'll definitely come again next time and bring family and friends. Thank you 🍁

8.5/10Excellent service and very good quality of food but limited menu. The restaurant is not so much Mediterranean, but more straight German food. We liked it but the menu options were very limited which is something to know before booking. I would eat here again.

10/10Our first time in Trieste, here for 2 days before a cruise. Looked on line and found this restaurant and it had great reviews so we thought we’d take a chance. The staff were fantastic explaining the menu and the food and service was excellent can’t fault it to be fair. Booked out is what a restaurant should be and I was not surprised or disappointed. Compliments to the chef and staff for these two UK travellers.

9.5/10We took advantage of the fantastic reviews of this establishment. The family throughly enjoyed the experience. The waiter explained all the dishes on the menu, especially those we weren’t familiar with. All done with charm and patience. The food was very good. Especially the sardines partini. I could have ordered a second serve. The desserts were unusual, plumb gnocci?, but it again was very very good. All in all and top night out. For a family from Australia, we were most impressed.

10/10We were a group of four and not that knowledgeable about Slovenian dishes. Our waiter was exceptional as he explained the dishes to us in detail and he had a pleasant, fun personality. All of the dishes were delicious, from Goulash to Cevapici (small grilled meat specialty) and the stewed ribs. I ordered the pork ribs and they were outstanding. This is a casual, quaint restaurant and I would highly recommend it.
