Beautiful venue. Thought we were making reservations for the fine dining/gourmet restaurant but inadvertently made them for the more casual side. It is the priciest dinner we’ve had in Cortona and while the hotel is gorgeous, not sure the food was that much better than other spots. Very much appreciated the extensive information on allergens. Seems to be mostly nut free which was a pleasant surprise for our family.

The restaurant is located in an ancient monastery recently renovated, a very refined place. The service is exquisite, the ambiance is relaxaing and though the menu is light, everything you have in your plate is perfectly balanced in taste and seasoning and a pure pleasure. The bread baked by the chef is worth a an extra applause.
