10/10We had a birthday dinner with 9 people, and it could not have been more perfect in every way. Louis was very attentive from throughout the planning and the dinner itself. He even suggested they make a cake, which was beautiful and delicious. We had a multi-course tasting menu with wine pairings, which were all fabulous in terms of presentation and taste. The service was excellent. Louis and staff made the evening very special for all of us. Grazie!

+1The food was outstanding from start to finish. The extra amuse bouche at the start were absolutely delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly and eager to please without being intrusive. The only criticism was that we found it a bit noisy - maybe some soft furnishings to absorb the sound would help. The dining room has a very modern feel in keeping with the style of food. The chef is truly excellent and it is wonderful to taste a contemporary take on Tuscan food.

10/10From the food to people working there, really just a perfect meal all around. Luis was wonderful, charming, attentive, and great to speak to. My guests made a second reservation for another dinner here before we were even two courses in! Don't sleep on this.

10/10Everything about the restaurant was wonderful. The ambience, the service, the food and drinks! The staff was attentive and personable throughout the evening and we enjoyed the details about the food and combination of flavors. It is a small place, so I would recommend booking in advance. The best meal in Italy during our 2 week visit!

10/10We had an exceptional evening at Al Tocco! It is a cozy and charming place next to the main square of Cortona. You can order a la cart but it is worth going with one of the tasting menus, one more locally inspired and one more open ended. Luis is not only an incredible host but his knowledge and passion for wine is unsurpassed. If you want a fine dining experience, rare and unique wines, relaxed and friendly atmosphere - you probably won't be able to pick a better place in the region!

10/10Louis was an amazing host. Our party of 8 ordered the Go Blind or Go Home with wine pairing. The Chefs offerings were imaginative and delicious. The staff excelled. Most highly recommended.
