Convivial place to go with friends for a relaxed evening. Very slow service (for a 20h booking, we were served our main courses after 22h and then the main courses did not all come together). Most of the vegetarian starters were full of mayonnaise and carbs, not very healthy.. Everyone enjoyed their main courses and desserts. Good choice of wines at all budgets, thoughtfully organised by price bracket. A warm welcome awaits you here.

For starters I had a great selection of small plates - Prawns, Beetroot & Apple Salad, Pork Taurine, Egg Mayonnaise, Potato Salad and Coleslaw ……. All were delicious. For my main course I had the sirloin steak with Jerusalem Artichokes and a tasty sauce. The steak was cooked very much to my liking. To finish I had a selection of cheese. The service was good and I’d certainly recommend this restaurant. I had a reservation for 19:00 and I reckon that it was a wise move to make the reservation because it was very busy when I was leaving.

We enjoyed our meal which was quite good, especially the excellent desserts. However, we could hardly have a conversation as it was extremely noisy. A great place for groups of friends; very convivial with a very young atmosphere.

This lovely restaurant accommodated our large group and made it a wonderful evening. The family-style appetizers and desserts (which differ from day to day) had something for everyone, as did the selection of main courses. The price for the combination appetizer-main-dessert was very reasonable for the amount of food we received. Everything was delicious! Our server was incredibly patient and generous with our large group. The location is really lovely, with large sliding glass doors to let fresh air circulate, and the fact that it is on a smaller side street meant we weren't shouting over traffic noise. Great place!!

Appetizers were awful but main entries amazing. Great Bastille location. Wonderful staff. However warm beer did not suit my American taste. Would try this place again but skip the appetizers.

The service was good. We were disappointed in the food given the reviews by others. The lamb dish my husband ordered was good, but the beef rib dish I had was way too salty and dry. I could only take one bite.

The starters tasted like the dishes served in Crous canteens. The plat(cochon) is exactly the same as the one in my university canteen. The desserts were even worse than those in supermarkets.
