Pepper has a pleasant subdued atmosphere and staff are attentive and helpful. All dishes we had were well prepared and presented. However, we were very disappointed to have second courses placed on table when we were still eating the first. Restaurant was quiet, although got easier later, but that is not an excuse. The Fork discount had to be asked for when we paid, not on bill, but was swiftly rectified

The food was basic, without any special taste was served very late, not all people were served at once and they did not apologize for the delay. The check was incorect, they added something that we did not consume and did not apply the FORK discount until after we asked for them.

Very nice food. It was just a shame our main course arrived before we had eaten half our starter to sit there getting cold! Shame as it spoilt the meal. I am sure it was a genuine mistake but we realised that we were actually overcharged with an extra glass of wine. Otherwise all nice

We were staying overnight near Bari Centrale and found this gem of a restaurant near our AirBNB. Don’t let the neighborhood fool you, this is a great restaurant with lovely ambience. Staff were friendly and efficient and spoke English fluently. The food was excellent, we had seafood meatballs, Carbonera, and Amatracina. Fresh handmade pasta was excellent and sauces were rich snd tasty. Tiramisu for dessert topped off things quite nicely. The house red wine was quite good as well, although only sold by the glass versus carafes. If you find yourself by the Bari Train Station for an evening we would recommend Peppo without hesitation.

Average experience/food/location. The amatriciana was amazing and the pomodoro was great but location was not and the tuna tartare quality was not the best. Service was friendly but checked on us very infrequently. Found ourselves having to get up to ask for things because too much time was passing. The restaurant was cute but had to pass by a lot of homeless people in the park to go to a dead street with only this restaurant open on it.
