Franco and his staff are simply amazing from start to finish. Perfect for an intimate dinner with friends or colleagues or a date night. Every dish I have had is simply fresh and made wondefuly. the ambiance and location give a wonderful break from the touristy shopping street with a quaint location on the canal. Piccolo is my go to when here for business and will continue to be a place I feel like home. 10/10

The place is cosy, however we had a disappointing experience. The pizzas had almost no flavor — even the pepperoni pizza was bland, and the parma pizza didn’t come with real Parma ham. To make matters worse, the door was left open, making it so cold inside that we had to keep our jackets on, and the staff refused to close it

Nice, cozy restaurant. Good service. I felt the lasagne was lacking flavor however, and the cannoli were served with soggy shells.

Food was excellent, both bruschettas were lovely. Also had thin crust pizza and penne Italia, equally tasty. Good ambiance and service with a smile.

I had the chicken with a truffle sauce, it was great. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. The ambience allowed for us to talk and enjoy our conversation.

Large portions, great house wine, friendly staff and great ambience. There were lots of people in the restaurant while we were eating and the volume still wasn’t very loud! Excellent!

Literally Top 5 Italian restaurants we’ve been to. Portions were large and quality was top notch. Service was very responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend to anyone

Excellent food and friendly staff. Good variety on the menu - family of 4 and we all had something different, each of us loved what we had. Service was a touch slower than we are accustomed to but very friendly. Cute restaurant and ambiance.
