5.5/10While the food was tasty, the room was way too dark and basic making for a nothing special ambiance. The menu is a kind of tasting menu. We ordered a couple of starter plates but then the waiter took the menus away, so we had to ask for the menus again to get our follow up dishes. All in all not a great experience

10/10The food here, in small plates, is fantastic. A blend of Asian types, which we enjoy immensely. This is the 3rd or 4th time we have eaten here and it is a must go to place for us in Amsterdam.

6/10Rather a regular Japanese restaurant than a olace that would merit the BIB Gourmand. Good food, nothing more. I was a bit upset when in order to enhance the tip the staff told me that "service is not included". Not true, in the Netherlands, different from the US, service is always included.

8.5/10A friend recommended this restaurant on the last day of our vacation, and boy was it an amazing experience. The sushi in this place is without a doubt the best I’ve ever had!. I would recommend getting the set menu special which offers 7-9 small courses of their famous seafood dishes.

10/10This restaurant is an incredible place! The food is unreal and up there with the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. Everything is so fresh, the staff are friendly and attentive. Cannot fault and would highly recommend! I’ll be returning the next time I’m in Amsterdam!

4/10With high expectations after reading other reviewers' comments and seeing the write-up in the Michelin guide, we were left wondering why. It's ordinary. That's probably the best thing I can say. Coming from Australia and having traveled to Asia extensively, there is nothing really special about the food. Service is efficient. However, there is a constant push to clear the table and have it available for other customers. It's expensive for what you get. What is the Michelin guide thinking? The interpretation of duck pancakes is a dedicated miss. Why deep fry duck so that it is dry and tastless. It sounds glossy, succulent, and flavorsome. Very sad. Really cannot recommend this restaurant.

5.5/10Service war bad. We have written E-mail that one of us has a Birthday in this day and repeated it in the restaurant to our waitress. Stuff said they will prepare smth and then they forgot us completely and ignored us. Very dissapointing for those prices and very average quality of Sushi that are being cooked in the little corner direkt at the entrance, where all the dust from the street is flying! Never again.

4.5/10We arrived and were sat right away. We ordered our food and was never asked if we wanted anything to drink besides water. We asked for our drinks and arrived within a few minutes. Asked for a few bowls of steamed rice for the table and had to ask an additional time 15/20 minutes later. We were told we didn’t have anything else in to be made so they asked to clear the table. The meal felt rushed and food was mediocre at best.

9.5/10Seems like another place from outside but the food is great. Sushi rice is slightly dry to my personal liking but still full stars. Wonderful nigiris. Try the oyster on half shell absolutely great and the cigar shaped chocolate dessert is unforgettable. Service is great and fast. Would go again!

About this restaurant
Een heerlijke plek midden in Chinatown waar je je kunt storten op Asian street food. Ze hebben hier gewoon een sushibar, een grillkeuken, dim sum keuken en een wok keuken. Je kunt je dus wel voorstellen met wat voor lekkere dingen je hier je tafel kunt laten vol zetten. Wat dacht je van sushi, dumplings, bao buns met Peking eend, verse Vietnamese spring rolls, gestoomde oesters, maar ook heerlijke noodle gerechten. Een waar Asian foodfest waar je met al je tafelgenoten van dezelfde schalen snoept. Want dat is nou eenmaal hoe Aziaten eten. En dat allemaal in een stijlvolle en romantische setting. A Fusion bewijst dat sfeervol Aziatisch eten helemaal niet moeilijk hoeft te zijn. Dus trommel al je vrienden op en op naar A Fusion.
