We ordered two pizzas: Diavolo and Fruti de Mare both of them were very tasty and the discount is real. Grazie

I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese and the 'Tonno e cipolla di Tropea' pizza. Both dishes were excellent in terms of both presentation and taste. The service was good; they brought the menu quickly, and the food arrived promptly as well. The interior is very cozy, and there are also outdoor tables located in an inner courtyard, which I consider a big plus. The menu is available in four languages, and the 'coperto' (cover charge) is clearly stated at the bottom. The value for money is excellent. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place!

I lived in Vencie in the neighborhood for a number of year and for over 20 years I used to go to A la Strega together with friends. Last times I was in Venice it was closed - so this time I was very happy to see the place re-opened. Alas! I think it is a new ownership - or at least a new work team. I also managed to invite some friends, so I managed to make a fool of myself in front of others. How is it now? 2 things - if the quality decreased - prices went up! This place, so famous for its varied and excellent cichetti - has no more (or very few), at least doubled in price. Food was moderate - but wines- the bottles at average price for the neighborhood - appearently in low stock (or none) - with others, more expensive ones, appearing. Then the bill - where coperto for 6 (when we were 5) appeared. A pity. Such a lovewly place. but you need also good people to work there.. and if you enter - check thoroughly the bill.

The food was good but the server was too present during our meal, he chatted with us the entire time, wanting us to guess what the songs were, asking us all sorts of questions a little too personal, and almost getting annoyed when we were not interacting with him.

We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner here. It was the only recommended place we could find open on such a special night, and it did not disappoint. We were a party of six and ordered a variety of dishes. Our favorites included the linguine with lobster, spaghetti with clams, seafood soup, pasta with shrimp, and a thick, rich hot chocolate. Everything was full of flavor, and the portions were generously sized. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu and panna cotta, both of which were very good as well.

I had such a wonderful dining experience here! The octopus salad was absolutely beautiful — fresh, tender, and full of flavor. The pasta with black sauce was also very good, and the panna cotta with caramel was simply amazing — the perfect sweet finish to the meal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I’m already looking forward to returning to this restaurant!

Don’t let the Google reviews fool you! The restaurant has a completely new management and the food is the best we had in Venice for sure, maybe even in whole Italy (and we have been to quite some places :)). The servers are very kind and funny the garden in the back looks amazing and even the glasses are made out of Murano glass. 6/5 stars!! :) the best dinner we have had with my fiancé for quite some time!!
