The worst Carbonara pasta I've ever had. Bacon ??? 3 tablespoons of oil at the bottom of the plate, and egg omelette. I wish the waiter had come and asked us how our food was, but he didn't. The pasta was really bad and the food was expensive too!

Exceptional customer sevice, gave us a nice table after we requested and had an amazing dinner by the canal. The spritz were fantastic and the vongole extremely delicious. Would definitely come back.

The restaurant did have a booking but no tables were ready so we had to wait, but not for long. The waiters were nice and we got bread and drinks quite quickly. Our starter was a Venetian fish platter which was very tasty and I would recommend. Unfortunately the main dish of Ribeye steak was really tough and tasted of very little. It came with rocket and tomato salad. We also ordered beef cheeks with polenta which tasted good, but looked terrible, just like a plate of slop. French fries were hot and crisp which was good. It wasn't really the Venetian experience I was hoping for as the rating had been reasonably high at 8.9. Not sure why. The fact I got a 50% discount with the Fork saved the evening.

Food was good, the view is spectacular. It’s nearly impossible to rate restaurants in Venice. They are all excellent quality. My rating is based on how creative/original the menu is and presentation. 4 stars for this placr
