Melt in the mouth sausage and mushroom pasta was much bigger than expected. Veal scallopine was smaller than expected but tasty. Semofreddo dessert with walnuts.

Truly a neighborhood restaurant with lots of regular customers. Enjoyable, friendly dining experience. Not fancy, but good Italian food.

Very nice beef carpaccio and osso bucco dish ! Home made pasta with salmon was very bland , dry and nothing special to write home about. . . Service was OK.

Unorganized staff and way of working: 1. They don't remember your table number. 2. They bring you the wrong foods/drinks and don't remember your orders. This happened to other people around us, was not an incident. 3. The bill was wrong. Had to correct it for the waiter because he couldn't find our table in the system. He had to manually click every table in the system to figure out which table we had. 4. When we arrived the waiter had actually see if there was a table for us available even though we reserved a table. Quality of food I had the ravioli of the day. It was not explained what the ravioli was/wasn't asked for allergies. The quality of the food didn't match the price on the menu. Other guests told us the same. The risotto looks like nothing on the photo on google. It was more a soup than a risotto. The meat was fine. Didn't get bread. Atmosphere Bad. All people around us were unhappy. The stars on google do not reflect the quality you'll get.

A good restaurant by Dutch standards, offering a culinary experience that is quite distant from traditional Italian cuisine. While the ingredients used are of good quality and the presentation is well thought out, the overall style leans more toward Dutch interpretations than authentic Italian flavors. The service is polite and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the prices are considerably high and not entirely justified by the experience. Overall, a decent option if you’re in the Netherlands and looking for a dining experience with a hint of Italian inspiration, though not truly Italian in essence.

We made a reservation via Fork 1 month prior for our new year eve dinner. We arrived at 8 pm sharp , placed our order immediately.30 minutes later our salad arrived, 2 hours later our main course arrived after being scolded by the chef for following up. There were so many angry guests this evening, who were all following up. Some of the tables that came after us got their dishes, they keep accommodating people at the door even though there is a 2 hour waiting time for the main course. Not the kind of dinner date I was hoping for. Sometimes greed over takes the quality. I sent back the tenderloin as it was undercooked against my request.

This is a very good neighborhood restaurant. The service was attentive and the staff went out of their way to serve our needs. The food was authentically Italian and nicely prepared. The wine list provided many fine alternatives reasonably priced. I recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable night out while visiting Amsterdam.
