10/10Amazing Restaurant! Excellent food with an even better wine pairing! Service was very good and friendly to non Dutch speaking clients. Great for a special occasion, tables are not too close together so you get a sense of privacy also. Will be back!

7.5/10We took one of the set 6-course menus. Couple of great dishes (the scallops, the iberian pork, and the oyster with the ham). Very special combinations. Other dishes good as well but less special/surprising. But definitely no flaws. The service was ok but not as high as I would expect it. E.g., the coffee sweets came 5 minutes after we finished our coffee, and the waiting times between dishes was too long. Also the price of the wine on the bill was wrong (higher than on the menu). And finally not blown away by the wine knowledge of the staff. So concluding - good restaurant but in my opinion a bit overpriced. Would have expected a higher standard of service.

9/10Very pleasant service and excellent food, real fun evening. Especially very excited about the vegetarian beet dish with suprising combination with Pistachio. Not a vegetarian but absolutely yummy!

Gastronomy made of gold Elegant dining In a monumental convent in the historic town of Utrecht there is no place more alluring for some haute cuisine. Get inside the spacious, elegant room with crisp white linnen on the table. Both chef and host are more than capable. It's not for nothing that Karel V has won the Gouden Pollepel 2015!
