Great service. Terrible food. I was really looking forward to visit S&P but the food was a real disappointment. My starter of chicken shashlik was too sickly and sweet. The main of chicken jalfrezi was very oily and the sauce had no real texture. It had a nice kick but lacked flavour and spices. It needs chunks of onion and real chillis. This was just a brown sauce. The pilau rice was plentiful but again lacked flavour and was too greasy.

Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all. The service is horrible and takes forever. The person does service for one table at a time and isn’t efficient and takes forever. The food is really not good and small portions and everything you have to pay for separately. The chicken in both of our dishes was hard and crunchy. Garlic naan bread was good.

as an Englishman living in France a good Indian meal is a rare treat and the food at Salt n' Pepper was excellent. Everything was fresh the onion bhajis were superb and the peshwari naan a delight, authentic pilau rice served with our favourite dishes completed a fantastic meal. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant, don't let the sparse setting put you off, the amazing food will more than compensate if you like fairly priced good home cooked food.
