9/10Although it’s wonderful to be inclusive language-wise everywhere (which is facilitated with the english language), in my opinion, a basic level of Portuguese should be required from all staff members. I did not struggle, but half of the group I was with did and I don’t think it is reasonable to mandatorily require Portuguese people in Portugal to have to speak english. The food was great but we were rushed in the end and that wasn’t very hospitable either.
