A pleasant environment We arrived on time. We had to seek out someone to receive us. The single member of staff on duty was attending to the one other occupied table. We were told to “sit anywhere”. After more than 10 minutes without ANY contact to offer drinks or menus, we left.

At the moment you entered, our staff member was preparing cocktails behind the bar and, due to the layout and angle of the space, did not immediately see you. This was an isolated situation and certainly not representative of our usual service standards. When you were invited to choose any available table, this was not intended as a lack of courtesy. On the contrary, we had several tables available and wished to give you the freedom to select the one you found most comfortable. Our service and cuisine consistently receive extremely positive feedback, and we are truly sorry that on this occasion you did not experience them as we would have wished. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide you with the full experience our guests regularly appreciate.

1st visit and was recommended Service and food very good and will return again very happy and quality was excellent

The only reason we thought we would try this restaurant was it was on offer on your app but we were only offered a different menu and were told the prices were already discounted. The only comparison I can see on the website is the pork cheeks which were 19 on our bill and 22 on the dinner menu. The steaks were poor, they only had one t-bone 28 euros not great and the rib eye was inedible. The starters were good and the sea bass & scallop too but overall disappointed with our visit.

This is our local restaurant where we eat at least one a week and it never disappoints. They are working on their new Winter menu which has some outstanding dishes, you must give it a try. They will also stay open in January when many other restaurants close. Snr. Steve

There is no atmosphere in the restaurant and I suspect few kitchen staff which is why it took a long time to serve the main course The restaurant turned people away even though there were plenty of tables available My meal was disappointing and the portions of my colleagues meals were much smaller than on our previous visit ! A mixed evening

Disappointed with the number of diners in the restaurant, a table of 10 and 2 of us. However, the service and food was superb.
