6/10The restaurant was lovely, a good ambience, but it took ages to get served, our food was very slow and they forgot one of our items. When I reminded the waitress she made me feel rude (of course we haven’t forgotten!) but later another waitress came to say the kitchen was closing and did we want to order anything else, I again mentioned the missing order and she said that the slip had been lost. She then said this would take another 5 minutes and did we still want it. She also said this would be complimentary, but they did charge us for it on our bill. It was disappointing all round

10/10Everything is really nice, I only consider that they should have bigger portions as it is a Spanish restaurant, the prices are a little bit high for the portion. The rest all good, the atmosphere and the staff.

4.5/10I have been to this restaurant before (summer 2022). My expectations were based on my experience back in 2022. My recent visit in Nov 2023 was disappointing enough to encourage me to write this review. The food volume and speed was not consistent… we ordered the same tapas (meatballs and bread) during the same visit and quantities were different. Not sure why? We also had two orders of bread and garlic aioli and the dish showed up to the tables with different “amounts of food”. The flavor and ambience was a bit off as well. A little disappointment given this rest is beautiful and can really be an unforgettable experience with the right attention to details and service. This was our second time, given our previous experience…. We were looking forward to it but feel torn about the experience. I am sure Tio Rosa is much better than tonight. I will keep track of others reviews and will consider coming back.

9/10The food was exceptional! Loved the sirloin dish, so mush so that we order two extra! Food was very slow but we didn't mind as the atmosphere was lovely and the drinks were flowing. Would definitely go again

9.5/10Great food, and great atmosphere. They were a bit slow with the serving, but there was only two waiters this day, and one of them had his first day. They were really friendly, but I believe it was the girl serving that saved this night for all the guests.

10/10We have walked by Tia Rosa so many times but finally made reservation. The place is absolutely lovely. The staff is super friendly, attentive , and yet relaxed, and most importantly authentic. We felt that they genuinely care. The food is excellent, the portions just perfect for sharing. The ambience is quite intimate. This is a perfect spot for a date night dinner.

10/10Couldn’t ask for a better neighborhood restaurant! I eat there often and last night I had the best meal so far! The menu additions and my regular favorites were outstanding!!!

7/10The staff was kind but not very knowledgeable. It was quite loud there which was increased by the loud kitchen and constant ringing of the bell when orders were ready. The staff was maneuvering a big bin around which was quite unpleasant. the food was ranging from alright to good but some of our order was wrong

8.5/10This was a great place for tapas, talk and sangria! The High Point was the asparagus. All the other tapas were delicious and served piping hot. This is a great place for a casual get together! Hope to be back someday soon.

5.5/10Amsterdam is overated. The food is too expensive and not necessary. You can have much better food if you are 20 mins away from the central station.

7/10Cute restaurant, very busy. The tapas were nicely prepared and presented. Service was spotty. Vibrant atmosphere, difficult to hear in this loud room.

8.5/10This is not a bad tapas place, but our expectations were high and we were a bit disappointed. They used to have a delivery business during the pandemic that offered great chorizitos, tortillas and pata negra. None of these are on the menu at Tia Rosa, hence our disappointment. Still, the Jamon ibérico was good, as the manchego cheese and the garlic bread with tomato sauce on the side. We had a great Rioja, good value for money. The olives, however, were another disappointment. A Spanish tapas place should serve the best olives available, as they do in Spain. The ones we got were a bit of an embarrassment. We do plan to return, since we had a good meal; just not as great as our expectations.

5.5/10Host tried to seat us and then two more couples at the worst table in the house, even though there were many better tables available. He tried to seat couples at that table, even though there was only a single chair at it. Tapas were not particularly authentic. Not much to be enthusiastic about.

10/10Cute little tapas restaurant, great setting, authentic feel. The food was amazing especially the solomilo, so tender and tasty. Staff friendly.
