10/10Two servers were working with us and both were very friendly and enjoyable. Drinks and food came promptly and everything was excellent. Highly recommend!

10/10We chose Ali Ocakbasi because of the interesting menu and the fact that they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy. I am happy to say that my server was knowledgeable about the celiac allergy and helped me choose wisely. The food was delicious and we all ate well

10/10We enjoyed the mixed grill. All was grilled to perfection. The pastrami humus was excellent as well. My wife is Turkish ancestry, so we frequently visit Turkish restaurants, and we were very pleased.

10/10A special thank you for today. My friends were feeling a bit down, and I spontaneously decided to take them to Ali Ocakbaşı. Despite the short notice, they made us incredibly happy by reserving the exact table we wanted. As always, the delicious food and warm hospitality made it a joyful experience and gave us the perfect setting to lift our spirits and connect with each other. This place is truly special to us a place we always prefer for its atmosphere and welcoming staff. Once again, we sincerely thank you for accommodating our last-minute request today. Every time we bring guests here, we leave with great memories. We’re grateful that, in Amsterdam, you make us feel like we’re in Turkey. Thank you for your hospitality it means a lot.

4.5/10This restaurant is a mess. We were served by 4 different waiters. They brought out the food without paying any attention to anything. We asked to sign a dessert for a birthday - they ignored the request. They promised to light a candle on the birthday boy's dessert - they didn't! They brought an extra side dish when we had already eaten. Total disappointment in the food and a holiday ruined by the service. I don't recommend it at all!!!

For the service, the restaurant refused to seat us earlier than our reservation time despite having several empty tables. Regarding the meal, it was overpriced for what we received (€77). The side dish for the main course was disappointing - a single half tomato to share between two people. Additionally, the dish lacked sauce; we requested some, but it never arrived. As for the ambiance, the restaurant was crowded and noisy, far from relaxing. Overall, it’s a very basic restaurant and definitely not worth the price we paid.

Great evening! We spent awesome time in this lovely restaurant, All the dishes were 100% authentic and delicious (my wife is turkish). The waiter Selcuk did a great job .

9/10We had the set menu and enjoyed a collection of very tasty dishes. The hospitality was very nice as we were able to sit back and the set menu was brought to us at a good pace, allowing us to both enjoy the meal and each other's company. The breads were excellent, and I enjoyed the spicy beef/lamb meat dish.

4.5/10The restaurant did not have my fork reservation but found me a table. Our menu choices were altered under the advice of the waiter, and the options suggested were expensive. We opted for one of the choices, which was extremely overpriced and in no way worth it. We paid €100 euros for an average meal. Would not recommend the restaurant, sadly.
