We wanted to try the Firenze steak and Casa Toscana was recommended to us. It was a chilly evening so we sat inside. The inside is spacious while being cosy and has a real warmth to it. The staff were very welcoming, The steak was out of this world and the wine was great too. Definitely recommend Casa Toscana if you want to try Firenze steak.

Very nice place without usual crowd even if it is holiday. Although it is better to book a table. Food is very tasty, prices are expensive. Staff is kind. So, I recomend this place.

What can I say? My meal at Casa Toscana was hands down one of the top 3 pasta dishes I've ever eaten in my life. I ordered the potato ravioli with beef ragu, and it was the most flavourful ragu I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. My partner opted for the gnocchi, which was soft and pillowy, and the sauce was simple yet flavourful. The food itself was enough to make us want to return, but the service and ambience was what really made the experience great. Our server was extremely friendly, asking about our trip and making us feel at ease, whilst the decoration was cosy and added to the homely, welcoming vibe. Overall, I would give this restaurant an 11/10 if I could, but a 10 will have to do.

Trattoria Casa Toscana went above and beyond to make our Easter in Florence a wonderful experience. The table was set beautifully to accommodate our large crowd of 16. The food was delicious and the service was great. I called twice requesting to add more people to the reservation and they were so kind and allowed us to do so. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great food at a great price with a fabulous atmosphere!

This restaurant was recommended by a local tour guide. Food was really tasty and not pretentious. The atmosphere was also amazing. We ordered 3 pastas and 4 mains for seven of us. Food came out fast and it was very tasty. I had booked through The Fork and received 20% off the al la cart menu. When the bill came, the discount wasn’t applied. When I questioned then they said ‘ohh you booked through the Fork didn’t you? After which they printed out another bill which included discount. Make sure to always check the bill.

Very convenient location, right beside piazza santa croce, nicely decorated in a traditional style. Food was pretty good. We were seated beside a fire - was way too hot - I had to walk around block to cool down. Staff were fine, but low levels of service and engagement - they were firing the plates out as quickly as possible. Fork discount wasn't applied automatically, see that happens fairly often from the reviews. Was told it was my fault for not reminding them.

Food was average, overpriced for the quality. House wine was not as good as wine we’ve had at other restaurants for much cheaper. Had 20% off with the Fork but this was not taken off our bill. I was made to feel awkward by the manager when I pointed this out. Also I asked for still water and was charged 3 euros for a carafe of water rather than bottled. when I queried this they said it was stated on the menu. I would not recommend this restaurant, unsure why there are so many good reviews.

The steak and the potatoes were excellent. We sat outside and the ambiance was great. Service was a little slow and at times confused. The Fork discount was not automatically tendered but eventually the manager was able to resolve the issue. Would definitely come back.

Everything was WONDERFUL! Could not have had a better experience. The food was delicious. We had a group of 6 so MANY things were ordered to try. The pasta and sauces are fresh and well cooked. The steak was unbelievable. Yum! The service was impeccable. Our service was attentive, friendly and added so much to the experience. There was a mistake made by accidentally charging our card twice. The manager immediately called us and asked us to come back (we had only walked about 5 minutes away). He quickly corrected the error and was extremely apologetic. The entire staff was courteous and helpful. The inside of the restaurant gives an old world vibe, it’s calm and relaxing. If we ever get back to Florence we will be coming back for sure!
