I've been visiting Nardones for ten years. I look forward to visiting every time I'm in Napoli. This is the proletariats haunt with iffy decorating and lousy music that is sometimes too loud. (they are happy to turn down the volume if asked). They have a new menu that I don't like as much as the old but favorites are still there. After placing my order I look forward to hearing the veal being "caressed" and pounded after placing my order. This time I took four family members who had never been. From the house white to the fried anchovies, the buffalo and tomato salad to the crusty, densely moist sourdough screaming with flavor to the Veal Scallopini al limone to the Mixed Fried fish to the great Pizza Pomodoro the meal was exceptional. Full of varied flavors made with outstanding ingredients.

I reserved here because there were so many positive reviews on TripAdvisor but not sure why. The food was tasty but it was not the environment I expected. Brightly lit, on a busy street, open kitchen and Michael Jackson music being loudly played. The other diners were also tourists. The food was quite good but I think we could have found quality food with a nice ambiance elsewhere. Also at 21.00 the desserts were already sold out (to who? There was no one there). Service fine, not special. I recommend elsewhere

A positive experience inside the Quartieri Spagnoli. Tasty pizza, but Graunaro pasta is recommended by the chef! The kind property tryes to satisfy any customer wish. A pleasent evening.
