Disappointing experience – not as advertised I visited Afalam 8848 and, although the staff were friendly and very customer-service focused, my overall experience was disappointing. The restaurant is presented as a local Portuguese place, but in reality it serves Bangladeshi/Indian cuisine, which was not clearly indicated. This felt misleading, as I was expecting a traditional Portuguese restaurant based on the information provided. Unfortunately, the food was not enjoyable in my personal experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it. I hope the restaurant updates its description so future guests know what to expect.

Maybe need to check our menu before you confirm your reservation. We clearly mentioned all about our food. We do serve traditional foods(pica pau,3types of codfish,bitoque,shrimp with garlic sauce,seafood rice and more fish and meat,seafood maybe you choose the wrong one. Beans curry it doesn’t mean it’s Indian or Bangladesh food it’s a Portuguese dish only difference is how we serve. We are trying to make happy to all our customers and provide them a good food and better service hopefully alfama8848 can make you happy on your next visit. Thank you

Great service. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and both my children enjoyed their first traditional Portuguese lunch. Would definitely eat there again.

The staff was super nice! Even though th ey don't speak much Portuguese they do make the effort, which we appreciated a lot! The place is very cozy and comfortable and the food was super yummy 💗

Good value for money. The food was good. We especially liked the cook. Just for you to know: seafood is not included in the list of things eligible for the Fork discount.

We went for the seafood, but on arrival we were told that it is not included with the fork 50% discount. very disappointing. We still ordered the clams, which were really tasty. Feeling a bit misled about the offer though.

Very friendly restaurant own by a couple attentive to their client. Great choice of food for adult who want s to try portugaise food and american food like Chiken burger for the Little one.
