10/10Hadn’t been back in many years and it’s still my favorite restaurant in Venice! Love it that it’s still all family owned and operated. Delicious food, windeful service and charming in every way. I took my granddaughter who just celebrated her 21st birthday. Memorable meal all around!

5.5/10the service was terrible, we served ourselves. This restaurant rests on its "old laurels!" We left 100, eur there, but there was no satisfaction. And there was no respect from the service staff either. We left our daughters at home, because we could only book two places. It was written, that the reservation is full, but when we got to the restaurant we realized that there are still quite a few free seats. Is this some new style???

7/10Food portion are on the smaller side, quality varied from the pasta dish and the seafood. Fantastic location. Could use some ceiling fans as it was so hot. Great place but could be improved

10/10We were following the recommendation of a famous Berlin costume designer, who stays at the hotel when in Venice. The restaurant is unique, a kind of Orangerie from 1900 with 1950s art on the walls. We felt far removed from the tourist industry and well ensconced in the favorite haunt of insiders.

10/10We’ve been dining here for decades and will continue to dine here anytime we’re in Venice. The food, ambiance, wait staff are all superb, and the restaurant is far away from the intense tourist traffic of St. Mark’s Square.

5/10A fabled place but the kitchen seems to have contempt for diners. An utterly tasteless antipasto del mare (always over priced in Italy but here inedible; we sent it back), and indifferent second dishes, though the liver wasn't bad. Avoid.

10/10I ♥️Locanda Montin and I recommend it 100% Hopefully I have a birthday celebration there in 3 yrs of my 70th bday . I was there in 1978!when I was 22 yrs old and I loved it !! I was studying at Palazzi Grassi . The owner of Locanda Montin Maria treated me so well - she taught me how to make Zabaione I met her son Giorgio tonight and he was as warm and fascinating as his mother. I recommend Locanda Montin !

10/10The food was exceptional and the service very friendly and professional. We were running late and after a short phone call, holding our table was not a problem even though the restaurant was sold out.

10/10Been coming here for 50+ years. The prices have gone up (!) but the food is still great. If you happen to like liver, their fegato alla Veneziana is the best.

10/10Located in a very quiet street in the Dorsoduro district, this is definitely a restaurant worth seeking out. It's a short walk from the Ca' Rezzonica vaporetto stop (take Calle Lungo San Barnaba to the end of the square, then turn left on Calle Turchese which becomes Fondamento Borgo after the little bridge - look for the white lantern which marks the restaurant's entrance). If the weather permits, choose a table in the garden, which is completely covered by a leafy pergola. The setting is beautiful. The menu is concise, but offers a sufficient variety of appetizers, primos, secondos and desserts We shared a spaghetti alla vongole, then my husband chose a veal Milanese, while I opted for the branzino with baby artichokes - everything was delicious. We finished our meal with a perfect tiramisu.
