This cozy Italian gem in Venice exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was warm and romantic, right by the canal. We loved the antipasto and the homemade seppia pasta, absolutely rich and delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the tiramisu was good. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Venetian cuisine.

Food was great, service was even better. Server even brought us a complimentary limoncello after the meal which was really nice. Tried the squid ink pasta. the seafood ravioli, and the bruschetta. Everything was great. Asked if we could sit at one of the alley tables by the canal and the staff was happy to do so. The ambiance there is much different than the inside of the restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend these tables vs the inside. My wife and I had a lovely dinner by the canal and it was one of our favorite meals during our stay in Venice.

We had a reservation for 20:30. When we arrived at 20:30, we were told that there were no tables available. Apparently, they don't understand the mean of the word "reservation." It means "to reserve a table." We waited for 15 minutes for a table to open up; Apparently, a reservation to them simply means that you go to the top of the waiting list. This is like going to Super Cuts. A reservation means nothing.

The food was amazing but the wait staff made it even more memorable. Tables outside are right in the canal. After dinner we were taking pictures by the canal and the waiter was kind enough to take pictures of us and with us on both sides of the canal. Great restaurant!!
